Default Nasty crash on 30th st by USF today

Saw the aftermath of a bad crash on 30th today. I was worried that it was my friend on his YZF600 until I saw "Ducati" on the tank. I don't know what happened, but there had to have been a big speed difference between bike and car for the damage I saw. There was pretty heavy traffic, ~3:30 when I went by.

A friend was there right when the ambulance showed up. He said the guy was embedded in the rear window, as in all you could see was a pair of legs sticking out of the back of the car . The guy had a helmet on, so here's hoping he pulls through.

Wow, lot of bad situations around USF. Good luck to the rider. Glad to hear he was at least wearing a lid.

and I would have guessed an older sv650s , I don't know enough of the duc lineup to recognize that front end

I drove by the opposite way about 30 seconds after it happened. he wasn't completely embedded, his right arm was through the window and the dent in the roof was where his head was. I would be really surprised if he didn't have a broken neck or even lived. Hope he is able to pull through if he survived.

Yup, my guess would be a 1st gen SV650S, but Jordan saw "Ducati" on the tank.....Sure does look like a SV though.
