I'm a dumbass, from google image searches that thing has to be an old SV650S. It's so weird- I 100% remember reading "Ducati" but this was a quick glimpse as I was going by and my brain must have seen the blocky pattern of letters on the tank and filled in the first moto brand that fit that mold (logo on the Monster). Your brain uses these little tricks all the time but it's a weird feeling when it's wrong. Sorry about that.

I've searched the local news sites and I can't find anything about this crash to know if the guy is OK or not. I used to get weekly reports of all USF police activity but ever since they hired a new information officer they stopped sending those out. I hate seeing stuff like this and just being left hanging wondering whether the guy is even alive or dead. Well, who knows what the situation is, but here's hoping the rider is alive recuperating in a hospital bed somewhere on his way to a full recovery.

 

i see a bike like this at usf all the time. might be the same one. that damage on the car looks like it was caused by the rider. i doubt he survived. still hope he made it. prayers sent.
