Glad he is breathing and hope for a fast recovery. I lost my eye when I was younger and it has made me understand how fast life can change. But trust me he will be fine he will learn how to walk with his new leg. I was thankful to be alive and I'm sure he is thinking the same thing laying in bed fighting to recover. i met him a few months ago at ccc everyone was trying to get jom to do a wheelie and he told everybody that it aint worth the ticket seemed like a really cool guy my prayers are with him

good luck to your friend, as John said people with a prosthetic limb can live pretty normal lives these days.

 

I've met him a couple times, but you guys are right, he's a bright and chill down to earth kid. My friends know him pretty well, and were friends with his brother. Prayers to Tommy and family. I'm a fairly new rider, and hearing and seeing accidents like this make me not want to ride down here in florida.

Any updates on the situation? How is he doing?

 

He's doing better they took him off the breathing machine and his vitals are still strong. he went in yesterday night for reconstruction surgery of the right leg. this will be an on-going procedure. other then that he is doing better. thank you for asking.

 

i read the 1st 2 pages and half of the 3rd...but his 1st mistake is going fucking 60-65+ in a 35... im not saying he deserves what happend and my prayers are with him but we all need to slow it down a bit...i fly down 5th too and i think it could of been me...we should all obey the traffic rules alittle better after reading this, it can make alot of diffrence...also yea i know him and isnt that lindsey in the backround?
