^^^they dont they just expect you to act like an adult...have 1 drink an hour or drink a coke or orange juice or wait a while after your last drink...also dude is not bullshytin bout his dui cost it is like that in every case actually he got off rather easy compared to some that i have seen...also they also require you to give them your car for 3 weeks or some shyt like that but most people argue that part and get out of it...and yea to the huy that blew a .14 im glad you got caught you are in a motorcycle forum you of all people should no the dangers out there for us without you putting us at even more risk by fukin drinking and driving...not saying your the biggest terd on earth but i hate when people dui i hope they all get caught its rediculus the danger they put every1 in...just think if your wife or kid got hit by some1 that drinks and drives would you ever do it again? no so why wait for that to happen...and back to the topic of this thread....he got the ticket for it being a hide a plate...that is an improper mounting of a tag...he got pulled for the hide a plate and ticketed for a hide a plate...he did not have a hide a plate...the cop thought he did due to the zip ties...he was not ticketed because the zipties were holding it on instead of bolts he was ticketed because they thought it was a damn hide a plate...

ya i know i was fucking dumb, and i pay all my dues. you learn from your mistakes, personally i was not intoxicated, i slept off the buzz and i know that the alcohol is still in your system but it's not doing the effect. the cop as we were walking to my car even said that i was walking and talking fine. on the video tape i did everything perfect. trust me im not looking for any sympathy i did the crime and i have to do the time and fines.

i did forget they did impound my truck for 10 days. that was another $200... but it didnt go to a lot, they put this big sticker on my truck and it had to sit outside my house for 10 days.

i never drank and drove before, i always use to pass out at my friends house and we always had a DD... i was passed out at a friends house but i had an eye infection from the contacts i had and his dogs were fucking my eyes up even more, thats why i wanted to go home.

i did get off sorta easy, but more fines are always rolling in at times... i will be the 1st one now to preach about not drinking and driving, it def isnt worth it.

oh ya and if you ever do get pulled over and you're a little buzz, a lot of people say dont blow... your ass better blow; they passed new laws that it says if you refuse you are admitting you are blowing a .2 or higher... so you're fucked even harder and your license is suspended for a 1yr instead of 6months.

the 1 day i made a mistake i paid for it, and i learned to even walk if i have problems staying at a friends house now.

 

yes i would fight it, and id use a lawyer.. because using a lawyer = 100000000000 times more credibility in the court of law vs a cops word.

if you ever get pulled over by the cops for dui refuse everything. loose your license for a year. but then the state will have no choice to drop it to a wreckless or careless i forgot. i know quite a few that have done this. But i am not saying go out and drink and drive. but if the situation ever arise's tell them take me to jail. i refuse.
