I have a feeling that when his guy said take it to a dealer to reset the ign box. that means his guy doesn't know how to fix it.

time to move on. find a shop that deals with carbs and has a dyno. it will help to know what the a/f is. is it a lean or rich issue.

dont need no stinkin dyno, a competent mechanic will know what size jets are supposed to be in there. If they are the correct size they will trace out the problem.

I'll telling you. I've seen some air intake tract shit feel just like fuel issues. you can chase that with jets all you want and not find shit.

On my bike, an air snorkle makes the difference between screaming effortlessly up to 10.5k RPMs and the bike being completely unridable to the point where it almost bucks you right off.

is is possible ir has somethin to do with the throttle sensor? The first cpl gears seem to b smooth the higher the gears the worse the bogging on acceleration occurs. If this guy cant get my bike rt in the next cpl days I guess I have no choice but to take it somewhere else. Aanyone know of any good shops in the clearwater/largo area that arent gonna rape my pockets????

Its sounds like your secondary jets. Even though he cleaned you carbs you could have got more debris in them and clogged the jet back up. I would jet/clean the carbs.

I doubt it. There is no way to be sure, but thinking its a sensor at this point is a pipe dream. You've got an air/fuel problem. I think.

How much for your shop to tune the carbs on my Magna and set the A/F right so it doesn't foul itself out when its hot out (and maybe even squeeze me out a few horsepower with the mods I have)? Roundabout figure, I mean. I have 4 carbs with a special tool required to adjust them - I have the tool.
