Local Bazzaz Z-Fi Tuner?
just the FI model is about the same price as the powercommander. The quickshift "retails" at 849. Then the traction control at 999 retail. Of coarse I wouldn't be able to charge anyone those prices. Still the prices aren't bad for comparable systems

you can't sell items at retail price?
It surprises me that motorcycle dealerships still have successful parts departments. With the deals and competitive pricing you can find online, it doesn't even make sense to buy at a dealership any longer (unless you know somebody that can hook you up). However, I suppose there is always a sucker out there that will buy something for a rip off price because they're either made of cash or too lazy to find a competitive price. It's seriously insane how much dealerships, especially around here, decide to mark up the items they sell. Even when it's a special order. It really pisses me off because if anyone should give a fuck about keeping business it would be the local suppliers rather than the folks online who have a much larger customer base.

I understand that dealerships are known as stealership but. But my tires like Frankie said are cheap. Most cases cheaper than internet and in stock. My job is to get retail numbers but I work with people and try to give them a good deal. I tell people I price match anything internet, motosport but not many people take advantage of it. We'd rather have the business than the percentage number. We have wayy more overhead than a warehouse packed full of lot priced exhaust but I still try to match it. Thanks Frankie also!

Yeah dealerships around here suck too... I still call Sky for parts & tires... this shit around here is ridiculous. I will be buying a tire changer soon and going to the local hang outs to let everyone know I can get them better deals on tires.... MOUNTED!
That Bazzas stuff is nice... its about time a closed end loop FI tuner was made available for street bikes. However, that other shit seems incredibly expensive.
A good PC3 & Tune should be around $500-$600
I'd like to see what a similar Bazzas setup costs OTD along with any noticeable gains to compare. If the cost is similiar, then by all means the closed end loop system in itself is a great selling point, but if its more expensive, from a sensible point of view, the braggin rights really don't offer real reason for me for the added expense.
As for the traction control... I've read up enough about it on race bikes to know its still isn't highside proof... so if you are thinking its a safety fool proof device... think again... it is not.
As for reliability, I too have heard a few horror stories about PC3's and even Dynojet not honoring their warranty... but it has been on the market a real long time. How new is this Bazzas stuff? I think if its fairly new that it has yet to establish its reliability over time.
