Another take on the V-twin cafe bike. These Wakans are just drop dead sexy. Minimalist design at its finest.

Love the wakans.... the price tag is a bit high, though.

hope cafes arent on the rise... wouldnt want people ripping my style as usual. . i got a 77 cb750 cafed up in pennsylvania at my mother in laws. gets all sorts of attention, more then i ever expected from both young and older crowds.

here in tampa i recently started playing with a 72 cb500, that is slowly turning into a cafe (damn carbs giving me problems after a rebuild and holding me back from proceeding with my plans, but what fun would it be if there were never any obsticles right?)

anyone in the area want to start a cafe racer meet and ride or whatever (assuming i ever get the carbs working properly)?

oh yeah, if you want to see some sexy cafes, check out benjiescaferacer.com. custom one off tanks and seats among tons of other stuff. carpy builds some nice bikes but benjie's makes the sickest, imo, that arent mass produced, like that wakan, that thing is sexy as hell

I hear ya. I've been seeing tons of ads, tv shows, movies, etc with little mop headed jonas brother looking dorks sitting on/riding old school brit iron or the new Triumph classics. I'm afraid the trend is on the rise. Though I don't think it'll break into the mainstream like choppers did. And that's fine by me.
Usually, most other bikers never consider old 70's and late 60's bikes as "cool" till they see one cafe'd up. In fact most bikers never even heard of cafe racers. But when they see 'em they like 'em. I think it has much to do with a return to a more simpler state of motorcycling. Bare bones essentials. Like classic hot rods.

Anyway....I'm down with a cafe meet. Fuel Cafe in Sarasota is having a cafe night coming up. Or I'm down with meeting up with any other cafe racer enthusiasts.

Looks alright but I'm personally sick of V-twin hog motors/the bikes they're attached to.
