I rode this chicks, It's a fun lil bike. Handles better than the last generation. And you can knee drag like a mofo on it. Slower than the Hyo 250 tho, by a long shot. Probably lack of FI and proper gearing. But than again they are two different animals.

Absolutely...
There is a reason for the skinny tires... well more than 1 really.
Unsprung Weight... these bike don't make the power to efficiently spin heavier wheels\tires
Overall Weight... these bike don't need the bigger tires anyways because they are so light. The stockers provide more grip than you could probably imagine.
In 125GP racing the tires are super skiny and those boys get down...

Sure the 250 doesn't come with slicks... but it also doesn't go as fast as a 125gp either.
