Default Rider Down - RIP - Justin M. Harris

around midnight-ish i wanna say(it was a long night)..call came in for a rider down at curlew/us19..apparently rider went down and run over by oncoming traffic..decapitation..he was pronounced by obvious signs-dead on scene..not sure if it was a cruiser/sport bike..(i wasnt on the call, and wasnt able to talk to the crew who got it)..there were no other vehicles involved..but hope it wasnt anyone on here..and to the family/friends..my condolences/prayers..wasnt able to find any info yet news wise..wasnt sure if a news crew was out there or not..it was still blocked off at around 245am when i was up in that area..

I cant comprehend whats going on right now, i just heard the news.

that was one of my best friends... Justin. He rode an 06 GSXR 1000.

The story of what happened is extremely fucked up

before people start flaming this thread, know that Justin is a loving father to his daughter and was one of the most responsible riders Ive ever had the priveledge of riding with. It sucks to know that thieves being the low lifes that they are would start a chain of events like this!

Ive also been told that he t-boned an old lady that pulled out infront of him last second. so he wasnt the only vehicle involed.

ill clarify this post once i get done with making some calls and figure out whats going on.

Justin, brother. Your close friends know what happened, the truth will be told, we love you bro and may you RIP.

Helmet probably wouldn't have helmed in the crash if he was decapitated anyways, but maybe it would've prevented it if he crashed beacuse he had no eye protection or something...

Either way, at least the guy got a quick death - thats how I wanna go if I have to go on the bike. RIP to the guy and good luck to the ones he left here.

Anyone have any details about what actually HAPPENED in the wreck yet?

Default Rider Down - RIP - Justin M. Harris

Motorcyclist killed in Palm Harbor wreck

A Holiday man was killed late Wednesday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car on U.S. 19, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
Justin M. Harris, 29, 5545 Riddle Road, was driving a motorcycle north on U.S. 19 around 11:40 p.m. when the bike struck the left side of a two-door Volkswagen that had just turned right onto the highway from County Road 95, troopers said.

Witnesses told investigators Harris was speeding.
The impact threw Harris from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Palm Harbor

Fire Rescue personnel. Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Harold Frear said Harris was not wearing a helmet.

The car's driver, 43-year-old Nada Duheric, was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital. Her condition was not immediately available. Frear said her injuries were not serious. Four of the Volkswagen's other occupants were not hurt, according to an FHP news release.
No charges have been filed.
