i never reccomend lowering a bike unless if youre ricky gadson.
I actually raised the busa an inch and change...but i ended up getting some new boots at the same time, so my feet can actually touch the ground

Connects to brackets on the calipers. Goes between the tank and triple tree across the frame! Hope that helps...

i know i will probably get flamed for this but you can put shims between the forks and clipons so they will tighten all the way my 636 has been like that for over a year and i havent even had to tighten them once and i have done it to other bikes with forks that taper and had no problem but i would not ride strapped.the other option you have is to send your forks to terry mcintosh and have them shortened and rebuilt i believe its like 275 and he leaves the forks with 1 inch of suspension travel so you can still ride on the street you can find him on psychobike.com

thats what i said, well, not shims, but if it wont tighten all the way remove some metal in the gap of the clamp so it will close more. I mean we're talking less than 1/16" i'd think.
