Accident kills motorcyclist in Tampa

TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- A 44-year-old man was killed Saturday morning when his motorcycle was struck by a car.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened at the intersection of Hillsborough Avenue and the Veterans Expressway in Tampa.
Investigators said Antionette Morello was speeding when she ran a red light.
She collided with James Dean, who was traveling on his motorcycle through the intersection.
Dean was thrown from his motorcycle during the crash and died at the scene.
Morello was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. She was later arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter.

There was another nasty looking wreck(Harley missing its front end) in the Northbound lane of 49th, right at the bridge Friday night. Hope that one turned out OK.
