I think i may have done that a few times. Not sure though. But that wouldn't explain it popping out of 2nd to neutral when i was only down shifting. I think i felt the shifter move also when this happened.

I read that Cows have the same issue. But didn't see much about Honda or yammy. Maybe we should have each bought a different bike.

Most drastic, yeah i agree. Easier to miss to, thats for sure. I normally will hit 3rd hard 2 out of 3 times if i hit 2nd hard. But you don't have neutral their....so less likely to fuk it up.

I don't beat my bike, i ride my bike. It was built to do one thing. I do my best to use it.

Ha, something i notice in the manual. The 750 engine is only expected to live to around 18-20k miles. Looks like i'm a 1/4 of the way through this things life already.

Thanks for the info eveyone.

If this thing gets worse i'll take it in. If that happens, i'll post up and let everyone know of the outcome.

18-20k miles? youre jokin right o.O bikes engines can make it past 50k with proper maint.

my bike too sometimes will go to neutral when quickshifting from 1-2 usually when my front end is up in the air

and as for buying a diff bike, if you went with honda or yamaha you wouldnt have the problem because there bikes dont have enough power or torque to make it miss a gear hehe
