What advice do you have for new riders in 10 words or less?

I disagree with this one. This is how I got my orange peel. If someone's settling down for a family, chances are that they don't risk stupid things, or going too fast, etc. I knew that my bike was babied for this reason, and cuz they were really protective of it. The one you have to look out for is guys in the service leaving, or have been gone a while. They will leave the bike for months just sitting there, and then when they get home or are about to leave for long periods of time, they will tear it up. Just my reasoning, you might think I'm crazy...

+1.
I cant tell you how many guys I've met thtat go ahead and buy their first motorcycle before they even have their liscense. Why take the risk?

If they can afford a $7000+ motorcycle, then they can afford the $200 class.

We really are the laughing stock of the entire rest of the world.
wow....

Don't even know where to begin....

I guess I have two questions:

1 - Where do you get your information from (though it is entirely inaccurate, it is somewhat entertaining )?

2 - If we are such the laughing stock's of the world....Why does everyone else risk life and limb to come to good ole US of A?

I cant believe some people have that mentality towards this country. You should appreciate the rights and freedoms that you obviously take for granted. If you really think it's so bad here, maybe you should find a home elsewhere, partner. that's my .02

1- probably all the 9/11 conspiracy sites out there (loose change, italian ex-president saying that it was an inside job, blah blah, etc)

2- education and opportunity supercedes whatever conceptions people have of our joke of a government and the nasty american attitude...

Yeah, this old man has spent a number of years abroad and traveled to nearly 40 countries.... seen the best and worst of people from all walks of life.

Say what you will, but there is no place better than the USA.
