dam tell me you arent thinking of putting a stunt cage on that 750 you bought off here! that bike is way to clean to have a crash cage if your that worried you should have bought a shitty bike man come on....race rails look much better but a crash cage imo will ruin that bike.

i'd say stick with the sliders and take it easy.

it wont ruin it..i think the FI cages look great..i would have it painted to match the bike..i dont want my $2k paint job/plastics being ruined from falling over because some @$$ pushes it over(which i heard happens a lot)..if my foot slips when i stop and topple over..or it falls of the kickstand(also happens a lot) or it slides out because of a dirt patch..i understand if i were to down going fast nothing will help it..but a low speed drop/fall..it will help me out..i ride safe and smart..but still doesnt mean it wont happen..?

ok well just stating my opinion.you did make this thread asking what everyone thought.as far as the bike falling over or getting pushed over goes,my bike has fell over with vortex base/puck sliders and the plastics didnt get touched...its all personal preference i really do like the way race rails look when color matched.if your buying them for austins old bike i would throw some race rails on it...my .02
but if you are set on a cage i'd go with the f.i.

no point in a cage unless you are a parking lot stunter.

Cage will sometimes make it worse on your bike if its a higher speed crash.

frame sliders.

i agree when i got took out doing 80mph my bike slid next to me all the way to a stop and i think if i would have had a cage it would have dug in causing a flip style crash....i think he is more concerned it will fall off the kickstand or get pushed over.

main thing..dont wont anything to happen to this bike that can easily be prevented with a minor mod..race rails or cage..which ever would be the best protection for a low speed fall/drop..

You cant hang corners with a cage on the bike youll low or highside seen it happen. Thats why they make race rails. Get some Swing Spools/Sliders a Race rail and maybe some bar ends. It will protetct everything in a slide. If it starts to tumble nothing will protect the bike. I know ive just spent 3k$ repairing my bike after flipping. This was going from 15-75mph on one wheel it doesnt end well most of the time. Any protection you buy is a False sence of security. if your in a parking lot great it will protect the major guts of the bike, on the street dont waste the cash. And if you look 90% of the ferrings were un touched teh rightide didnt have a scratch ! lol

GSXR 750 $6000.00

Repairing Wrecked GSXR $3000.00

Clutch Control Classes Priceless
