Default Traffic Infraction...Feedback please

Alright...today on my way to class I'm heading west on I-4 heading into Ybor City (HCC Ybor Campus) After i pass the 50th St. exit I see a brown Crown Vic with a regular FL license plate. I am following another bike that had just got on the interstate and traffic is flowing steadily at around 65-70. My exit is coming up so I change lanes to get around some cars and head off onto my exit. As im sitting at the light at 21st and 22nd Ave. the Crown Vic comes behind me with the blues and reds. He stated that he "paced me" at around 90mph but only put 85mph on the ticket. The posted speed limit in the area is 55mph. Is there any way I can get out of this ticket with a good lawyer. The ticket states that I have to make a mandatory court date and the judge will decide what my fate is.....Please help me out guys!

Cliff Notes: Got a ticket. Might be a fightable in court. Need feedback and opinions.

Fighting the system is alot harder then you might think, but you can get out of it with a lawyer. If you dont have any points on your license then you might as well pay the ticket and take the class because court costs and lawyers fees are crazy considering I work for an attorney. Good luck.

When he came back to the bike...I asked him what the damage was and he said its up to the judge to decide it....I have a relatively clean record...No accidents, few speeding tickets but they were all paid and I took the driving class. I dont think I can elect to take the class, might be the judges decision. How much do lawyers usually cost. I heard from a few people on here and elsewhere that you can pay some of them $100 and they'll get it thrown out?

Not to sure because some charge different amounts for different things, it all depends on if the case takes more than one court date or not. If you havent taken the class in a year then you can go ahead and take it to get the points off

shitty man, take it to court.. theres a sticky on traffic lawyers to use at the top of this forum... check that out and start calling around for prices. as long as you arent a crazy repeat speeding offender if you go to court the judge SHOULDNT be too harsh, and will make oyu pay a fine/court costs and will generally throw out the points. goodluck.

I have learned to always fight the system.

he "paced" you which is B/S. he probably sped up and then lookd down to see what he was doing to catch you, then called it "pacing".

need tires (take offs)? PM me
need a deal on a track day? PM me

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,

yep, shitty call by the cop. you can actually represent yourself if you are well spoken and know your shit and can get the whole ticket thrown out all together.
