Thats funny. I had a HCS tell me their is no 3 step law, just last month. And IIRC i looked it up and read the same thing a few months ago. I've talked to pinellas cops/sheffifs before and they always seem to be cocky and try to feed you bs.

yeah i belive via my supervisor last night told me you can carry anywhere in the car just on on your person. so technically, you can have it sitting on the seat next to you... no steps what so ever. im in secuirty and for the most part the guys that are armed kno all the laws reguarding what you can and cant get away with cause they try to get away with as much as possible. lol

oh and for the glove box guy needing one more step... put it in a holdster in the glove box... UN-cliped of coarse... leave one in the chamber tho cause by the time you get it out of the glove box and holdster you may be dead already.

and .22's are great you can pop a clip of like 17 into someone before a guy with a 45 gets 5 well placed shots off... with a 22 you can just unload effortlessly on someone and it WILL stop them if you shoot in chest / face region...

double tap with one in the head thatll stop anybody.

there is no such 3 step law....it says nothing of this in the florida statues.....the gun cannot be in plain sight though...thats the whole thing with concealed weapon...it has to be concealed from plain sight...as for me though, i keep mine in the glovebox with one in the chamber and a full magazine, if something were to happen to me, i want to make sure i dont have to go through any steps.....point and shoot....i wish florida would go to open carry....its funny, you look at the states that have very leniant gun laws and they have very low crime rates (i.e. vermont, alaska) then you look at washington d.c. where your not allowed to own a gun...one of the highest crime areas in the nation...makes you think

That is true , each seems to have a different story,...i think its more like their opinions of what the law should be , how ever i was told that , i wasnt argueing with anyone about their posts , i just dont get why when a simple question is asked , those fuckers cant tell you the truth..

Ditto. I don't usually carry unless I'm spending time in a bad area.
