Ever since some thugs tried to car jack me in Downtown Tampa after last years car show Ive been packing heat, Because If I had my gun with me when they tried coming thru my window I would have ended a few lives there.

I just sped off and went home and the next day I was at the gun shop, I have a leg strap that I carry with me now. Walther p22.

The whole idea is to put an IMMEDIATE stop to the threat. I doubt a .22 will do that.

dont underestaimate a .22 can cause all sorts of trouble for you..especially if it hits bone and starts bouncing around your body...

1. Small
2. Small
3. Its cool

Now seriously.

1. Its compact to where I can conceal it and people wont see it
2. I can shoot off 9 shots....All hitting where I aim, With larger guns when I rapid burst I couldnt hit the spot I was aiming for 100% of the time. To much recoil.
3. If you pull out your gun on somebody, its instant fear in there eyes, they dont care if its a .22 or a .50.
4. I like the way it looks
5. Most likely if I shoot a person in the head they are going to die or have crazy brain damage, now if you do it with a bigger gun there head might explode, but overal its going to stop the threat.

The point of a conceald weapon is for self defence , not to kill someone unless it comes to that. they lecture that in the class... You prove a strong point to anyone with a Co2 pellet pistol... those things break skin and dont feel great......a .22 is more then enough to get ur self out of a situation... and my opinion is , if it isnt enough for ur situation , then your prolly in a mess you shouldnt have gotton into

Luckily I have never had to be in the situation to use it, but if I do its there.

i also carry a walther p22 in my glovebox..... it is legal to carry in the glovebox or center console if u dont have a CWP as long as its not on or about yourself....i just turned 21 today....once i get my fingerprints done i am sending my packet off to the Dept. of Agriculture to get my CWP...ive been around guns all my life (dad was an ex-cop for 17 years) and ive always lived by the phrase... "Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it."

My dad was shot with a .22. The bullet went through his liver, bounced off of a kidney and went through the base of his spinal cord. He couldnt walk for a lil over a year and had to go through physical therepy. He gets chills in his legs and is always cold from the waste down. He was a security guard at a produce market on Hillsborough Ave and he got mugged on his way home from work at 3am. The n*gger that shot him told him he was worthless cuz he only had a couple dollars on him He was carrying but it was a .25 and jammed after 2 rounds. It seems as if those always jam.

well , im not argueing with your dad but i feel you may be a bit off on the gun laws regarding having a weapon with out a permit... I have been told my the pinellas county sherrifs department that to have a gun in a vehicle with out a CWP it has to be no less then #3 moves away.... like per say , lock box in the glove box , or in the trunk.... if its just sitting in the glove box or center consol , thats considered 2 moves , lean over , and open box.... as i said , this is what i have been told... im not 100% on it but it was told to me by a sherrif
