yea the cheapest i found race rails for so far is $150 but ive found on a couple threads on different websites that they have got them for $99 shipped which is a lot more reasonable. i figure if im going to buy $70 sliders why not get that little extra protection.

wsideshow- do you have the number for frank at Pure Acceleration?

i have lifted the rear before by putting 2 support blocks on both sides near the swing arm... lifting the bike and having my friend slide a squared bar under the swing arm. it worked really well even though it was a bit of a pain in the ass initially. i cant come up with anything to lift the front end up safely?

ive heard people just gently lay their bikes down and take the wheels off that way? thought?

if you can get race rails fo 99 dollars id get them cuz there is bearly any mark up on race rails even going through powers stunt worx directly. they dont even give you any buy in options to lower the price either.

haha... naw, i couldnt tell what she looked like. i was just looking for the race railz info and to talk to them about possibly riding out there with them once my bike is back together.

and i was reading through the thread i found again and saw that the $99 price was a group buy thing set up with the makers of race railz.

Why are they called race rails, they look more like a crappy half ass stunter cage. Wonder how much all that extra steel weighs.

ive heard with full cages you cant get as low....
with race railz it provides a little extra protection and doesnt hender you in the corners. i have seen a guy on a gixxer site that went down at the track in a corner and the rail itself saved his bike from serious damage. plus if you just drop it the frame slider style caps on the end of the rails can be replaced.
i was considering just making them with some steel piping, small manual pipe bender, welder, and some delrin that my friend has. cant be too hard. might be a fun little project too but if i can find the railz for a reasonable price i want to just buy it out right.
