Got Pulled Over 2day...

I got a ticket last Friday but I deserved it. I did a little first gear power wheelie on Gunn Highway when I thought I was alone. Long story short I pulled over, was curteous to the officer, told him I knew it was wrong but it was hard not to hit it every now and then and we ended up laughing about it. Instead of risking everyone's lives running or giving him shit for doing his job I just manned up and took my $120 careless driving ticket, no big deal.
On the flip side, I have gotten multiple tickets for what I consider bullshit infractions (police fund raisers), so it goes both ways. Still, I cannot believe how many people will risk their lives to get out of a simple traffic citation. Most of the time cops are not out to screw you until you give them a reason.

I agree with pulling over... Shit if u do something wrong MAN UP... so u pay $80-$350 for a ticket but think about all those lives u may have saved if u ran... and why run?
(it was ur dumbass fault for getting pulled over in the 1st place)

I can't stand all these FTP people, its been said before but...
who the fuck is the first person you're calling when your bike is stolen? or your house gets broken in to? Just think about all the bullshit LEOs have to put up with in a day with drunk dudes beating there wives and shit.
everyone has there 2 percenters, but most people have good in them overall.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with the police.
I haven't been here that long, but my overall experience with Tampa's police force has been very positive and I am impressed with how many great cops are in this area... I've run across a few dicks, but that goes in any group.
