+1 Eric is a great guy and is interested in helping people out, not just sell them the most expensive item. He'll help you figure out the best helmet for you and your budget. Its rare to have people around in a sales environement that have integrity.

Also they sometimes have special clearance items and I've seen helmets as cheap as $80 in the store for decent helmets. Guess it just depends whats going on at the time you're in the store?

This is a great helmet they have on sale now (I have only heard good thinks about the VR2 (I have the helmet one step below it) and if I had to buy another helmet today, it would be this one regardless of the sale price) Cycle Gear - KBC: VR-2 Helmet Multi-Color, LEGEND BLUE

Also check their "specials" on line to see what deals they are offering. I didn't go through them all, but usually there are several helmets that are good ones on sale. And almost all items you can pick up in the store, very few are "internet" only.

Here is another sweet deal that I didn't know they still had. As long as you like/don't mind the color scheme, its the VR2 helmet for super cheap! ($139.99)
