So dumb question, I assume she gets high-octane gas? How many miles between oil changes as well?

In all honestly, its been a great bike. A little touchy compared to the cruisers I've ridden, but I'm very happy with it. Great biike, and I plan on keeping it that way. Another question though - at what RPM do you guys generally shift gears. To me its sounds like its whining, but thats on 2k RPM. I guess I'm just not used to the sound.

dude.. when im in the city im usually in like 3rd gear and maybe 4th if im going pretty fast, on highway i put it 5th or 6th

i keep it in 3rd so that if a car cuts me off or something happens i can accelerate fast and not have to downshift, plus I LUV the NOOISEEE

Congrats! Nice bike

Good job on getting gear! Does it include Motorcycle Boots and riding pants?

Best advice I can give you is to play around with your shifting and RPM. I bet half the people with 600cc I-4 bikes shift way too early. Try shifting later and later and getting up higher and higher on the tach. It may sound like it's about to explode, but it's just starting to wake up
