Default moving handle bars

how hard is it to move the handle bars up a little higher...

i have an 06 kawi super sport 636 (ie ZX6R)
the handle bars are just a hair to low for me to ride comfortably...

Nope. You have clip on's. If you look they are at the top of the tripple tree already. No way to go higher.

i still have about 1/2" of post sticking up which is exactly how much i need to come up...i dont need to come up that much...thats why i was asking

Your clipons are most likely installed under the upper triple clamp. If you have 1/2" of space between the bottom of the upper triple clamp and the top of the clip-on, then you can loosen the clip on and move it up.

I suspect that what you're seeing is that you have 1/2" of fork tube sticking up above the upper clamp. You could raise the whole front of the motorcycle by eliminating that, but it would change the way the bike handles and probably not for the better.

Your options are to replace the clip-ons with some that have a higher rise to them, replace them with a conventional handlebar, leave it alone and get used to it, or buy a different bike.

Most dont adjust. You are riding a sports bike not a cruiser, confort was not the idea when designing the bike. Performance is!

yea it is above the triple clamp...so the high rise clip ons, are they like off set to sit higher?

i know that...when i say im not comfortable with them where they are i guess i dont letteraly mean comfort...
