The following ebay link shows high rise bars for an SV1000 next to the factory clipons for the same bike. This should make it clear.

It does sound like you'd probably have more fun on a less edgy bike. Truth is, most people would, but the supersport and superbikes have more street cred so that is what people buy. Personally I ride an SV1000S on the street and an R6 on the track.

i didnt buy it cause of the street rep i bought it cause i like it...this is the only down side to it and i can learn to live with it which i think im goin to have to because i went to the shop today and asked them and they said they dont make high rises for my bike its not enough of a down side to over come all the things i like about it
