Well I was just going for a drive down the beach and a elderly woman pulled out in front of me. I was only doing about 25mph and I immediatly slammed the rear brake and it lock it, so i pulled in the front one and relized I was not going to stop in time (really bad feeling). So I just laid her down on the right side .. I laid there for a second making sure the cars all passed and i got up to find out that woman had just left never stop! There were other people around asking if I was ok, I just gave the thumbs up and proceded to bike her up. She started up just fine and so I pulled off on a side road to go over the damages. Scratched pegs, broken mirror, and my new frame sliders scratched. Luckily I finally got them! Well now I am trying to get the wire out of the mirror but I'm having a tough time. Has anyone taking of the mirrors to a 06 gsxr?

and dood slamming on your rear brake seems to be pretty stupid if you ask me. what in gods name would make you think your going to stop in time with your rear brake? and at 25mph i wouldnt have laid her down to avoid hitting her, i would have hit that bitch and got a nice lawsuit going and a new bike for the track to go along with it.

some old lady stopped in the middle of the road at a green light in front of my mom when she was on her bike and my mom hit her going like 45. my sister was on the back also luckily she only got away with a few scrapes but my mom had a broken foot because the bike laid down on her leg. she scored 110 grand for that lawsuit and got it within 8 months.

so i say to you now...while going 25 mph you should have enough time to figure out whether you want to be a wealthy man or if you want to be stuck with the repair bill because the old shrew high tailed it out of thier before you got her info.

No I didn't slam on the front, I did the rear cause my foot was already resting on the brake and it was so sudden I just slammed my foot down. Then while I was sliding I pulled the front brake to stop faster while re-applying the rear, but I didn't have anymore time. Thanks for the link too I'll check them out.

P.S. ATGATT It just goes to show you never know what's going to happen, even go for a little ride down the beach where you least expect it.
