I was having the same issue. took mine in and they replaced the kick stand safety switch, adjusted the SET valve, and set the idle. well icontinued to have issues. then they stopped. and a week later the fi light came on an then bike stalled in themiddle of the turn.

Check Gixxer.com and look up how to adjust set valve. It cleared my problem.

The bottom nut needs to be loosened about two three turns.

that blows, i thought the whole dying problem was because of a messed up kickstand sensor?! lol...i'm never owning a gsx-r. Hope you figure it out, or the dealership stops being gay and just adjusts it for you. (On cars Some codes are stored in the memory, and some are only present when the light is on...so they might be telling you the truth, or they just don't feel like adjusting another set valve.

The code can only be read when the light is on. At least thats if it is the set valve code. C046 I believe....
