I took it at MCC...We had a VERY small class that weekend. We only had 5 ppl including me. Everything went by quick. I mean we were supposed to be there on Sat and Sun from 6:45am to 5pm but because there wasn't that many ppl we ended up leaving at about no later than 12:30 both days... It was far but it was worth it, and the cheapest that I found...period.

my .02 is that if you're comfortable on your bike you should just take the test at the DMV (if you're over 21).. it's not very complicated and you save a ton of cash.

FYI everyone, I think the laws have changed here in Floriduh recently. And since July of 2008, it is now REQUIRED to take the Motorcycle safety course in order to get your endorsement. I'm probably going to go take it pretty soon also. I don't have a bike right now, but I'm wanting one SO bad.

Default Just traded four wheels for two...

Sold my Acura VTEC and took a course at Ride Safe right over the 60 in Clearwater.
Their site is either www.ridesafenow.com or www.ridesafenow.org. Google it if it doesn't wrk.
Either way, i actually liked the class (which is rare for me) and when I passed i got a coupon for a full refund from a couple different bike dealerships if i bought a bike from them.

I wound up going with a SUZU 750 at Ride Now, and they refunded my $225. Money I will probably now put toward gas and a new exhaust. Any tips on good exhausts?

If you're looking for a 2-day weekend class, go for the one I just took.

It's about 1 1/2 hours Northeast of Tampa in Eustis, FL [Lake County] just West of the Orlando area.

I paid $245 for Saturday and Sunday 8AM-4PM.

It was actually a lot of fun. Fun times zipping around on little 125cc deals and decent instructors.
