I was riding on I4 when the rear of the bike started having a slight fishtail, thought maybe it was just wind blowing the bike around a little bit but it turned out the tire was going flat fast, all while doing 97 MPH.
It was a brand new pilot power too, the only good news was it went out right near seminole powers sports and I was able to milk it to the dealer where I had them put on another pilot power. I gave the old tire that probably could have been fixed just sticking a plug into it to one of the parts guys who is a stunter, he was happy to have it so I guess that was good.
Glad I didnt crash because they would still be picking up my body parts on I4, heavy traffic plus I didnt have any gear on other than gloves and my helmet.

 

wow that sucks...too bad the stunter didnt give you store credit for giving away that tire like that with it bein brand new in all. i never heard of a stunter that liked pp though...not flat enough for slow wheelies

 

well I said he can have it, but I also told him to hook me up whenever he can on all the crap I buy there, I usually always get a 15% discount anyway

Im getting all new gear for xmas, and I do know we should always wear our gear, which I usually do 99% of the time, this was just that 1% time that I wasnt wearing it and something that doesnt happen too often (getting a flat) did happen and could have turned bad real quick

 

Funny, I got a flat tire today too.


I was coming out of a 138mph corner, with a wide open throttle. I noticed the back end sliding out on me. It could have ended really bad. Lucky for me, I have a tire changer at home an a spare set of Diablos on stand by for just this kind of situation.

 

Well at least nothing happened, glad it worked out.

 

I had a flat yesterday, since we're on the subject.

 

If i had a nickel for everytime i went 100 mph in heavy traffic on a major interstate well,,,,i"d be broke

 

damn come to ocala, thats all u will see people stunting on ..slow or flat
