Ouch! Man that is terrible news...

Well I am thinking that perhaps we should avoid that road for a while. I am sure the cops will be paying a little more attention to that road in the mornings to prevent any more injuries & property damage...

The last left hander before getting on 52 is also getting real nasty.... seems to be getting worse IMO... lost of trucks travel that road & its taking a toll on that turn...

 

I'll be out there with a couple of friends.... we'll be in the back since it's our first time out there to learn the road.... after reading about this, I don't want to get too brave and do something dumb but yeah~ looking foward to checking it out

 

you mite want to check tsb for a starter north run... seems to be more slow rides posted up over there.


if you do go, don't worry about keeping up and just chill.

 

Dude I hit that one today at a pretty high speed and yeah...... I won't be going through it that fast again. It IS becoming way too bumpy. That's where one of my guys wrecked a month ago, but not because of the bumps.

 

Well, no disrespect or anything, but I'm going for sure on sunday... I do appreciate the warning though. I may be a little younger than most out there but I'm not going out there to prove anything, just to go out and meet some of the other riders and have a good time. I won't be trying to keep up my first time around. Like I said though, I do appreciate the warning.

 

We might have to work something out this Sunday...there is no way I want to be waiting long amounts of time at each stop sign...this ride is really more for expierenced riders...some people must learn that the hardway...such is life

 

I want to go, but I wont have a helmet until sometime next week. Anyone have a full XL I can use?

 

ummm you need more than just a helmet for these rides...


I'm not really sure why but seems like new guys are crashing all the time these days. don't remember it being like this when I learned these roads but it is what it is.

helmet, jacket and good boots at the least... some kinda riding pants are a really go idea too.

 

Can someone PM me a route? I'd like to get to know the roads so I can maybe join you guys one day....looking to bring the bike home over my long ass xmas break so I'll have a lot of free time.
