Default electrical problems

I just bought a bike from a member here a few weeks ago.Headlight was out and he told me it just needed replaced.Well he was wrong looks like its electrical problem.I don't know jack about bikes and was wondering if any 1 knows if its an easy fix or around how much to fix it.On another note it looks to have a hotbodies undertail kit.The lights are very dim.How do I go about getting them brighter or just buy new lights.Ant input would help thx

So, you replaced it and it didn't light up? Did you check the wires? Other than the light is the bike good?

Buy a voltmeter and see if the wires are running current/

does the head light not work or is it dim. what lights are you talking about that are dim? dim while motor is running or dim with the key just in the ignition? the honda is fairly simple to figure out where the problem could lie. i currently have a therory but waiting for my questions to be answered.

just out of curiosity. is it the head light that is suppost to be off with the low beam on but it comes on when you turn the high beam on?

how old is the battery? any damage on the left side of the like? more specifically the stator cover?
