Franky... if speed is a priority, you are looking into the right bikes... I can pull in guys on liter bikes that hit the brakes as much as the gas, but only into & in corners can I pull them in... The Z can't match their raw acceleration out of the corners or the straights... I find myself backing off the guys that wont let me pass so that they don't mess up my rhythm with their heavy breaking into the turns...

Oh yeah... You'll prob hate a stock Z suspension... plan on upgrading it if you get a Z. Oh yeah... wind protection & Aerodynamics are non-existant...

954 is by far the best streetbike there. Lightweight, awesome brakes, as reliable as any bike out there, and a HUGE trunk. Also pretty decent for 2-up riding as well. Mine made 135rwhp bone-stock. An RC51 that dynoed that day made 124rwhp with a PC and slip-on pipes.

The only reason I'm even looking at 900+cc bikes is the torque output. I love torque
Really, whats wrong with the 1000rr?

well from what I've always been told is the 1000rr is like 60lbs than the 954 and maybe 10hp more...
anyways, so you looking for a bike that feels fast but really isn't fast? that kinda weird dude...haha

I miss my 929, but the 954 is an improvement.... I am not a twin fan..
