Finally finished the bike suspension mods... my bike really needed it.

Kawasaki, in an effor to cut costs, really cheaped out on the suspension of the Z1000. Couple that with a good 50lbs more (wet) than a liter bike, the bike really shows the suspension to be its achilies heel.

Thus... I fitted a 2005 636 rear shock & 2006 636 front end.
Also in the pics I powder coated the rearsets black...

The Bonus...
The radial mount calipers with 4piston/4pads are bitching!!! The front brake on this thing is now 100% better... didn't expect that...

that looks nice. good mods...thats one of the reasons i just decided to stay supersport...i really didn't like the stock suspension on those. How much better is it? have you gotten it all dialed in to the new weight and stuff?
