i know that my 600rr felt rock solid in a corner (manny had a 600rr previously) all of the GSXR's i have owned(04 GSXR600 & 05 GSXR1000) they all vibrate really badly in the handle bars and its something i didnt expirence in my experience with the honda. the GSXR front suspension gives you a ton of feed back which combined with the vibration might lead you to think that there is something wrong or loose. loctite the barends in or you will loose them and the vibration will get really bad. check them everytime you hit the track.

plus going from a 600rr to the GSXR is like going from a 240 to a Z06....you can feel the extra 20lbs that the GSXR has over the 600rr but you wll love the 50+more hp and 40+ft lbs of torque.

the bike is awsome, but even with 152 WHP and a +2 rear sprocket, i still wasnt that impressed with the power... i mean hell yes its fast, but i expected just a lil more. I guess being on a 600rr that had every mod CCS would allow kind of spoiled it for me best handling bike i have ever riden by far, a hell of a lot better than my 600rr... it just feels more stable to me. I gotta wait to get on the track to give my full opinion. ill post some pics up soon.

152hp isnt all that bad.....just for comparison purposes (not bragging) mine made 153 stock....

you need a custom map and maybe the biggest diference that i felt was the TRE. it didn't gain any hp but made the throttle response wicked....

here are the mods i recomend for the GSXR1000
full stainless TRC (titanium is over rated and exspensive...it got discontinued)
cumstom mapped PCIII USB
TRE
BMC Race filter (use on the track mainly but i used it on the street also)
Factory pro velocity stacks (big time mid range increase as much as 6hp on stock bike)
my 05 made 166.7hp and 82.3ftlb on 93oct with a splash of 100oct

now i just went down 1 in the front and did a lightweight rear sprocket with a DID gold chain....and we cut the pipe into a shorty.....looks sweet sound even better.

good luck manny....enjoy your bike
