i know what i am talking about because i was arrested for it a couple years ago while i was in my car and it was a misdemeanor...
and if it was a felony to some extent the cause still does not justify what the cop did.
its one guy on 2 wheels that was speeding. the cops chasing him for a speeding violation also endangered other peoples lives. a cop, with the right mind set (protecting the public 1st) would have let him go.

I agree the officer pulled out in front within seconds, if it where a road block he wouldn't of been moving! Still wrong on the deputy's part.

oh wah wah wah.. asshole runs on a bike because he feels invincible... goes thru 2 states running... and an officer FINALLY gets the idea to set up a road block to stop him. He should have done it a lot sooner. This would be the same protocol for a roadblock for a car.. so stop screaming "wahhhhh cops a mean to bikers.. wahhhhh" It's a little give and take here guys... you ride a bike because it's an enormous advantage to flee any cop that attempts to stop you... you run the risk of getting a little more hurt when you wreck it. Anyone that says he shouldnt have tried to stop A BIKE that way, only a car is ignorant. Get a life.. stop trying to defend stupid shit being done. You run on a bike, your now endangering me (as a normal private citizen going to the movies with my family) so you dont get a speeding ticket. Well fuck him. Police are on the streets to help make sure assholes like this cant hurt anyone else but themselves for their own stupidity.. and thats what he did.

there are times its necessary and other times its not. in this situation it was uncalled for, it was only a speeding ticket. now if he would have robbed someone or commited some sort of felony then i would understand, but it was FOR SPEEDING!

if the fucktard got away, he would have posted on some biker forum that he evaded and eluded cops in 2 states, bragged about it, and it be ok. people usually run because they:
1. have comitted a felony
2. have a warrant for their arrest
3. have something on them they shouldnt have/vehicle not proper, etc.
4. just plain fucking stupid
5. want bragging rights
and i would run over a 10 year old kid on a bike if he commited a felony, evade, elude, thru 2 states. i would also ram his/her car, bike, goped, moped, dirt bike, 4 wheeler, whatever it may be.
once someone crosses state lines in commission of a crime, isnt that automatically a felony?
