yes gear is a main thing.... do not grow balls for awhile. if you think about doing anything when ridng with alot of people, you prolly shouldnt. be smart, ive seen more people go down trying to keep up with new groups... and im gettin tired of gettin 12-3 in the morn phone calls for people goin down. actually i think i drove dori home lastnite lol... nothin wrong with a gsxr, its still not a harley!
Congrats on the new bike. I am up for riding anytime it is not raining and I am not at work. I have been riding street for 2 years now, so while I do not consider myself a beginner, I also do not mind riding slow and safe. Around where do you live? Just let me know if you want to ride this weekend, I am up for anything, although I would suggest staying away from the North runs until you get a couple thousand miles under you belt!

About the MSF, I believe Suzuki will pay for a percentage of the course.
just make sure your goal when riding is to stay alive, not to have fun...
most of the time having fun with a bike means speeding, wheelies, and just doing stupid shit showing off. which leads to crashing into shit that's solid and you dying.
don't be that guy.
