Default What shops to do work?

im talking extensive work...full engine rebuild basically with my own personal mix of parts. and what could i look to spend on an endeavor such as this realisticly? i mean i know how much it is to bore, align hone, sonic check the block, port the heads and what the hard parts cost, just lookin for someone to put it all together for me cause i dont have time anymore really..and when i do have time, i wanna ride lol

have Falicon blueprint and balance your crank. 700cc Wiseco's are around $325 and approx $75 per hole to bore. SV's transmissions are shit, they look like a dirtbike, but a racecut would definetly help, around $300-$400. have someone who knows their shit port your head and stick in some Web cams $500-600, heavy springs$150, adj cam gears $200(stockers are press on so you need adapters, thats why they are so expensive) also add an oil cooler if you dont already have one. and you cant beat a set of Keihen 39 FCR carbs. and a full exhaust. the cylinder work and trans work i do everyday for a living for a very prominent and local motorcycle machine shop. its my job, its my life. pm me if you want to get more in depth on the cyl and trans work and pricing.

...75 bucks a hole...lmao...im in the wrong business.

the head work i can do myself so i am not worried about that. im not going to go crazy with the cams, nor the heads, it would be sprayed if i did end up going through all of this....but by the absurd pricing im hearing for simple shit, i think ill just save the money and get an SV1000S or RC51 when i feel ballsy again

i am curious on the tranny though...they are straight cut gears correct? if so, all 6 or just like 1-4? and im guessing im going to have to deal with the roots blower whining sound too.
