what?

don't be gay... you have to hit it in first to get any good times out of it.

it really doesn't hit that hard.. my 1000 on a 60 shot only feels like maybe a 100 on a normal car. i was expecting a lot more but after talking to danny he said he had sprayed a few bikes back in the day and it wasn't shit.... then i rode mine and he was right.

$8-$15!! Damn, whoever is doing that is selling themself short. I cant understand how they make any money. This is precision machining, i wouldnt even set the block up in my boring bar for $8. The $75 bore job i was refering to was for a 700cc kit, which is 3mm over. thats a lot more cutting than your .010" that you are probably speaking of for a car. A normal bore job(up to 1mm over) is around $40-$50. Prices include chamfering and honing. I dont make the prices, i just do the work. These prices are also pretty consistant for all motorcycle machine shops.

.010, .020, .030. 040...whatever...its 8-15 flat rate from what ive seen per shop dealing in my car endeavors.

i mean maybe your right, maybe its the amount of material that has to be removed from each cyl...4mm is like 1/8 of an inch, but still there is 2 cylinders compared to 8, and i would think it would even out...and not to mention the car cyls i deal with are 4+ inch bores..requiring a bigger bit..but i dunno.

Good info, I need to either rebuild or replace the motor on my SV (yes, still).. whichever is cheaper (probably replace)

deacon....dont fuck with the bike....you talking about spraying a frickin SV650...come on man! That is a learners bike at best. Do yourself a favor and buy a faster bike. It will save you time, money, and embrassement. And as far as your bore question goes, its a simple lesson in economics....supply v. demand. you should better spend your time selling your bike and researching for a new one....imo
