You think thats funny? This is why cops and citizens are so pissed because its carelessness on the street where citizens drive and innocent people get killed and the racers. I know if you were to find a backroad with no intersections, like where we used to race on 78th street. If guys like to go out to gandy and places of such, we should go out and find places, that have very long streets without intersections, where there is a road for enough room to race. We could very well all network and find good places and spread the word rather than going to the same place every weekend, where there cops waiting for you to do something stupid or nothing at all and, we pay for it big time, lose are cars or get a ticket and even jail time! Lets do somthing about this...

 

My theory as to why they are revisiting an O L D topic/street racing... it starts with a question:

When did these "news" stories about street racing originally surface by local news stations print/tv all over the country within the last 5 years or so?

Answer: See dates for release of the movie(s)
1) The Fast and the Furious (circa 2001)
2) 2 Fast 2 Furious (circa 2003)

These local news stations are SO predictable, which is why they are SO boring....

I'm not supporting street racing but south of riverview has allot of loooooooooooooong roads and zero trafic at night... no traffic=no cops=no harassment=more racing

very true we should find new places to start racing only good place has to be gandy for top speed runs and such but it would be nice if we can find new places :-/
