People deal with tragedy in different ways, this guy uses humor. Even if it is on the distasteful side, it does underscore the stupidity of the whole scenario. After all, mere milliseconds before the crash, it was the most important thing on both riders' minds.

If you take a minute to think about the question, it can lead to an understanding of just how high the stakes can be in street racing. This question reminds us that the reward is rarely worth the potential cost.

 

Deal with grief??? That asshole didn't even know George. Cecil, I really hope as a moderator you do something about people coming to threads like this and being completely thoughtless about the victims and families. If I see anyone else on here saying anything bad about this entire situation, I will handle it myself. I have read a few of your posts and calling George a moron or just being a smartass is completely out of line. No matter what your opinion is, keep it out of a thread that is viewed by his friends and family.

thats what i origionally posted on page 2 , I knew there would be some who would come to this thread and bash him.... It is possible for some of the best people to make the worst decisions , and this one unfortunately he didnt live to regret...

and as much as some of you didn't like manny's comment or mine(made me laugh manny) we are entitled to our first amendment right... was it a taboo? maybe. i'm sure he was just kidding so dont burn him at the stake.

i totally understand the seriousness of this thread, but bike tech is full of them. I (we if you include manny) dont go around poking fun at all the rider down threads. this accident is ammo in the fight against sport bikes, and the exact reason cops harass everyone riding "jap bikes" and insurance rates are outrageous..

anyone think that maybe the guy not on the busa was like fuck! fuck! crashing sucks and roadrash hurts and took off to get his injuries attended too? i'm just giving another point of view.


p.s if you have a black/silver bike keep it in your garage a couple of days until this goes away...no reason to get harassed by the po po..
