What channel did you see that on? i have been looking for it.
ill never understand that... Watching someone go down and then you take off. You have got to be the biggest dick ever to do something like that!
This is the second time i have heard of this.... and i saw a guy go down and die right in front of me (i didnt know him) and his friend gets off his bike, looks at him and then takes off. And yes they were racing.
RIP

don't get that either...if the cops didn't see him "racing", they can't prove it. Not sure if they were "friends" or not, but how could someone do that, especially if he did walk over to him???

sounds weird to me to, but there were afew other bikes that stopped with him and stayed there till the cops showed up. I stayed there also and asked the cop if they need any help or a witness. Then i went to work.
they were not racing. i know a few of the people that were in the so called pack. they were speeding and the older lady just pulled out and they had no time to stop. busa took th crap end of the deal. yes speeding on dale mabrey is retarded but reguardless its almost impossible to miss the pack ok bikes they were in. RIP

I was supposed to be riding with them tonight , But i didnt go , My friend called me about the what happened... His name is George.. It was his busa.. and from what my friends told me that were there at the exact time of the accident , They WERE racing , no details were said about for money or what not , but they were doing something stupid and the stupidity cost some one there life.. I knew this guy , I had ridden with him a few times ,Stupid or not , he was a decent guy who made a shity decision , so any bashing comments on this thread need to be kept to them selves...
They don't make a bike fast enough to outrun the fact that you helped get someone killed and then fled the scene. I'm sure that the Gixxer rider has got to be realizing that about now. Crappy situation, easily avoided, what a waste.
i was @ the 7-11 on the corner on when it happend i told the guy i was w/ lets ride out now its sad to hear but thats the price you pay for racing in the kind of traffic if my friend was down no matter what the situation im stopping after reading this post i know remeber why i like to ride w/ the same 4 or 5 people just a side note what is w/ people riding w/ out helmets i was out the and seen 15 bikes pull off everyone helmet straped to the side come on lets get smart wear your helmet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From TBO.com:
TAMPA - One man was killed and another was being sought Sunday night after two motorcycles crashed into a car.
George Esparza, 43, and another motorcyclist were speeding north on Dale Mabry Highway near Waters Avenue about 5:45 p.m. when a car turned into Esparza's path, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Esparza, of 14807 N. 30th St., was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other biker skidded on the ground but picked up his bike and rode off. He may have been riding a silver or gray Suzuki GSXR, the patrol said.
The car's driver, Mary Rush, 75, of 1505 N. Habana Ave., and her passenger, Josephine Slavinski, 80, were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries, the patrol said. Rush's 1998 Ford Taurus was totaled.
