What do you guys think about the SV1000s?
I drive by a copper one every day at work and it's probably the best looking bike I've ever seen! Has anyone rode one or have any expierience?

yo my girls dad has an sv its fun as hell to ride but they dont run like a gsxr so if your buying one to ride w/ ur friends that have sport bikes a sv is not the best idea but if ur getting to just kick around it is an awesome bike
Personally...
I dont consider them anything near a "sport" bike.
I dont care too much for v-twins...Im not too fond of a motor that runs at a hotter temp than most inlines, produces less power than most inlines, and is generally heavier than most inlines.
I road a friend's SV1000....to me it road like a dog.
Slow as shit compaired to my inline, and I didnt really feel much of the "torque" that's supposed to be there.
I agree...it is in a different class, a slower one.
If you want a "fun", or easy to ride bike for communting and what not, the SV's are a great bike. But for the true sportbike experience, I wouldnt get an SV.

The SV are one of those bikes that has a strong cult following.

It's not a GSRX1000; and that's why Suzuki makes GSRXs.

I didn't expect it to be as fast I-4 liter bike. How would you compare it to other bikes?
