I love these kids, they all think that since they got them newest badest bike out, that all other bikes suck, the SV is a niche type bike, it has its place as do the GSXR's. At the Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki shop that I work at, I think that everyone who rides there at one time or another has owned an SV650/1000, 4 still do including me...

I own an SV650, ZX10, Roadstar Warrior, and some other offroad bikes.

Want to know what one I ride the most??? Its the SV.

um monsta....I owned (until yesterday) a Buell, not the hottest anything, but I had to stick up for the bike I owned at the time. I am a huge fan of the SV line, I am a former TLR owner. Suzuki knows how to build a great street twin.

I ve driven my friends sv1000 they are torquy but my friends r1 walked all over it and to be honest i am a way better rider than he is we did rolling start at 20 in 2nd gear 30 in third and then just screwed around off the line and like the guy said earlier if ur friends ride sport bikes i wouldnt recommend an sv
