I got 3 runs in at my first time to the track. I wheelied hard on the first and bogged the other 2 times. I kept babying the throttle instead of feathering the clutch which made it bog. I know better for next time.

Don't give up so soon. It's not as hard to do as you might think and drag racing a motorcycle is a lot of fun. A few things to remember. The bigger the motor the less amount of rpm leaving the line, seat position, suspension, how fast you turn the throttle, slipping the clutch are important and there is much more. If you would like to give it a try I could help. Just let me know when you are going to the track.
I have a gsxr1000 with roughly 300 hp and race it all the time. Racing is a blast, give it a try.

Jerry can help you a lot, he can ride your bike and give you a time to shoot for. Then he can give you some pointers on how to get there.

Not true he went 10.84 on my bike I went 10.89, that is close enough for me. It just takes practice.
