I need some advice on cheap bikes maximum ammount I can spend is 3000, also well you guys be able to tell me cheap motorcycle insurance agencies. I had car insurance paying 3500 a year is too much especially when I have to pay for college. I understand that there is a thread suggesting bikes for begginers but also you guys would know which one would be cheap as far motorcycle insurance also any bikes you guys know for sale. I got a quote from Geicko saying 2000 thats high for the Ninja 250 '05 any advice will do.

really... a search will help. if you couldn't find any info on insurance, then you're probably blind. and blind people, although it's funny, shouldn't attempt to ride motorcycles.

agree with CBER, buy a used 250, or 500 or whatev your looking at and screw the insurance companies, afterall, they screw you. In a year of paying insurance you could have bought another bike.

Buy a cruiser! My insurance, on a $15,000 bike, is $600 a year for full coverage. On my Honda, which was worth about $5000, it was $300 a year for full coverage.

Given the situation that you expressed, I would have to agree with Frank.
