all that sounds good to say but you and i both know that kid did not charge into the cop. he slowed down and the cop jumped into him.
should he have done a wheelie in front of school... no but how many of you have done them to show off in front of people.(i have not since i haven't even tried one yet..lol) well he was only a high school kid, we all did dumb things when we were kids.... hell i raced in the drivers ed parking lot one day.
shit happens, and some times cops need to be smart enough to know what's going on. these just didn't seem to have a clue what was happening and when balls out. if he didn't go home to his wife and kids that night i say it was his own fault for not being smart enough to preserve his own life by not jumping in front of a moving object........ darwin at its finest
oh and p.s. didn't i read a post of yours about running from a cop on the interstate in the rain...............
well that cop was smart enough to know it wasn't worth chashing you and risking you killing yourself, him or others. because if i remember right was it 100+ before you saw him and them you ran? i maybe wrong that is was you, to lazy to search but still you get the point. shit happens
bottom line to me is............ kid wanted to look cool to other kids in front of school. cops see him, ih runs (bad idea) cops freak out and all hell breaks loose. people could have been killed.
there's more than one person wrong in that story

the cops like to show off chashing and catching bikes too......some friends of mine( that post here) have been hassled at gas pumps by a cop that ended up telling then he was like a blood hound and would chase bikes no matter what.......damn i wish i would have been there. even thou he would have ended up taking me to jail over bitching him out and calling his shit. fucking cops

I've never popped a wheelie, in traffic, on 19, so I can throw stones. Sure, my bike won't pop a wheelie on 19, but it's not like I'd fucking do it anyway. I've sped in traffic a few times when I had my Honda, but that's one of the main reasons I sold it. Too much power, too easy to put myself in stupid situations. I'm one of the few that realize I have no self control and actually downgraded the power on my bike to accomodate my inability to stay off the throttle. The amount of torque the Harley puts down more than satisfies my need for power, and since all the power is down low, I don't need to speed.
So, that being said, fuck him, and fuck you for being a dick about me saying, "Fuck you!" I'll curse at whoever I want! There's no justification for the guy riding like he was, and especially no reason to run from the cops/charge at the cops after getting busted. I hope they fuck him in court, a little time in county would do him some good.

Drinking and riding not cool.
As far as my chase ???, The only time I've left a cop was when I was already traveling at a high rate of speed knowing there is no way in hell he has time to catch up from a dead stop, turning around, etc. If I saw though that he was catching up to me for some strange reason (rocket propulsion ??
) then I would probably pull over and play the stupid card like I didn't know he was behind me until he got closer. BUT nevertheless cops dont have rocket propulsion so I can keep the "stupid card" in my wallet for a while.
