for all of those who say its "to mask riding skills" need to put up or shut up. It takes SKILL AND FINESS to be able to haul ass on a 300hp bike through the corners as fast as a 140hp bike. A 140p bike can come out of the corner just wrenching on the throttle, try that with 300hp and you'll find your ass eating from a fucking straw! You guys are retarded. Why is it those talk shit about having HP are always in the BACK of the pack? If it's 99% rider HP shouldnt make a difference right? And if thats the case then why hate on high HP bikes? Is it not true that those who ride liter bikes are usually more skilled than those on 600's? Then why if one has three times the hp of a factory liter bike it now makes them unskilled. YOUR LOGIC BLOWS! /rant

seriously though, i'd say a high percentage of people that strive for more HP on bikes don't know how to put their knee down
Because putting your knee down has EVERYTHING to do with HP? Tell me how having more HP prevents you from having to put a knee down? If Cecil and I enter a corner both at 80mph he is going to HAVE to lean just as much as me to turn. Having HP does not make your bike car-like.

Well i want more HP ... But i have never put a knee down.

Guess im not ready for it. One day i will have enough skill...One day

BTW: Back to the topic. HP AND TORQUE = FUN. Why do people seek turbo kits and superchargers and Nitrous for their cars? Same reason. The thrill of speed. Hell last night coming down the interstate at 145mph all the way home I would twist the throttle and see how long it took to get to 155. I WANT BIGGER now. I wanna twist the throttle at 145 and feel that bitch pull like i was in second gear.

No, retard is saying HP is supposed to make up for being able to corner. I guess so you can catch up to your faster friends on the straights. WHo knows, but people will find ANY excuse to bash the way others do things if its not THEIR way.
