Yes you can, its a false neutral, Ive had this happen between 5th and 6th the other day. I have also had it pop our of second a couple times when i was balls to the wall and it unloaded the rear and scared the shit out of me. I also run HP4 honda oil. Which is semi synthetic.

i think if it keeps popping out of gear (i dont mean once or twice) your tranny my be bad or u may have blown the gear. my brothers old 550 has a blown 2nd gear, if u give it too much gas, it'll kick out into neutral, but the back is about 20 years old..........

cant be that.. alot of our bikes are new.. iv had this problem with both 03 motors.. more with this one than the other..but im power shifter alot more now then i was
