I'm trying to find a bike for chris and I'm having so much trouble. I called up everyone selling a 99-02 r6 in cycle trader and they were all sold. Throttle factory told me they have one that will be ready in a couple days. I'm not exactly thrilled to buy one from them though...

Does anyone know of any good bikes for sale for 4500 or less? Preferablly a 99-02 r6. So far I've checked ebay, r6messagenet.com, cycletrader, word of mouth and most local bike shops. So all I could think was to post here bc I know plenty of people don't advertise right away, maybe someone out there is thinking of selling one. As you are finding out, the bike market has exploded. Especially for good used bikes under $4k. Its gonna take patients and time to find it. hang in there.

 

try wera.com - there are a lot of salvage bikes there and race only bikes, but sometimes there is are some good deals.

Hell I bought my 03 ZX6rr on there with 2400 miles for $3K and had it good to go for another $500

 

if you can squeeze about $6-700 more then i know someone selling a 02 R6 custom paint and polished rims, frame and more...... the bike is from AZ so it is not well known... and to top it off hes a mechanic and takes damn good care of it...
