clutch problems
What do you mean it stays? The actual clutch lever stays in after you depress it? If so then it probably means that the line isn't clamped down somewhere, it probably is even right where the actual cable comes out. So just make sure no retainers are snapped off and the clutch cable isn't dangling...
I'm no bike mechanic but I work on cars and this happens alot with hood releases when they aren't held down properly. After pulling on the release it just stays out...

It sounds like:
1) the clutch is fried
or
2) something is way out of adjustment
