For 15 large over a car accident I had 2 yrs ago. Isn't that the reason I have insurance? I just got the subpoena yesterday. My mom starts flipping out and told me to save my money. So I might have to sell the bike, which would suck, or sell my car, which would probably suck more. Talk about putting a damper on the weekend...

Depends how much money there going after you for, if its over the the amount your insurance covers- they go after you. Probably just sueing you civil?? right

Well apparently Allstate has paid out $28000 already on the accident. They were trying to settle with these people for like $4200 and then $4500 and obviously they're not gonna take it. So they decide to go after my dad and I, since I was under his name at the time. I don't know what our coverage was but my dad said it was like a million.... so hopefully things will go our way and the fucking insurance company will get off their wallet, cause I sure as shit ain't taking out a personal loan to pay someone elses hospital bills.

 

Just forward all of the info to your ins. co. They should be able to take care of it.
