I had almost all of my gear on the other night. Too bad I didn't decide to put on my gloves, I would've had a little less rash on the hand. Oh, and luckily I didn't hit my head.

Crap man, everyone seems to be wrecking... My buddy Mike with a gixxer 1k went down 2 days ago... He was wearing shorts and sandals ( Had a helmet thank god)... SOme lady cut him off and he went down. Road Rash everywhere and a really messed up $11K bike...

 

Shitty! It's always the other non-drivin focks on the road that cause shit too.

 

Yep, I hope that we havent angered the bike gods or something... Realistically though, people really do need to learn how to drive. Working in Insurance I know this 1st hand...

 

+1. I went to Quaker Steak and Lube last night and couldnt believe how man bikes showed up with riders without helmets or gear. It amazes me people are will to risk their lives. Plus i dont like Bugs and rocks to hit me in the face while i'm riding.

 

update, hes out of the ER, and into the SICU... as soon as they move him out, he can get visitors. this is a good sign.

 

Nope. My gear consists of some harness boots, levis or leather pants, marlon brando style highway jacket, and leather gauntlets. Once summer kicks around, I'll more than likely ditch my leather jacket and gauntlets for a long sleeve shirt. Go ahead flame me.

 

Kimmel went down? What was he doing riding in shorts and sandals? Sucks about his bike. He didn't have insurance either did he?

 

I just don't find it comforable enough to wear my jacket all the time. I always wear my helmet, my gloves sometimes, and my jacket when it's cold or riding with a group. I just can't wheelie the same in a jacket, lol.
